THE UNDERSTANDING GAP

• Western Judeo/Christian culture is simply not mentally prepared to grasp, understand or accept the Islamic mindset and its implications
• We are geared to co-existence and tolerance; it is built into us culturally from birth whereas:
• Muslims are carefully taught from birth to despise and suspect infidels and un-believers
• Islamic schooling focuses on rote memorization and forbids critical thinking and debate
• Radicals are NOT hi-jackers of Islam. Their ultimate goal is the same as moderates - only the tactics differ.
• They are all true believers but vary only in aggressiveness.
